Our in-house fetal bovine serum has been tested by the CIC and has out-performed 13 other lots from 7 competing companies. In addition to several requirements to participate in the testing process (i.e. hemoglobin, endotoxin levels, etc.), we test the serum for hybridoma colony growth.
