  • Purchase of ATCC cell lines at a discount to the investigator
  • Purchase of BSL-2 and lower

  • Storage of up to 100 vials at -190oC
Mycoplasma Testing$42
Cost includes:
  • Testing of supernatant of four of the most common mycoplasma and acholeplasma species:
    • M. arginini
    • M. hyorhinis
    • A. laidlawii
    • M. orale

*Investigator should provide at least 2 ml of culture supernatant from a confluent culture



Hybridoma Fusion/Cloning
Pre-fusion / Immunization (10-14 weeks)~ $500
*Investigator should provide the CIC Facility with at least 1.5 ml of 1.0 mg/ml antigen

Cost includes:

  • Purchase of mice
  • Per diem costs
  • Tech services for injections, bleeding, etc.
Note: These costs are paid by the investigator directly to the Office of Animal Resources
Fusion (6-8 weeks)$1500
Cost includes:
  • Fusion of mouse with the highest titer
  • 10-15 96-well plates
  • Collection of growth wells for testing by the investigator
  • HAT weaning and expansion to 48 or 24 well stage of positive parent
  • Freezing down of 3 vials per positive parent
Cloning (6-8 weeks)$500
Cost includes:
  • Limiting dilution cloning of a chosen hybridoma parent cell lines
  • Collection of media for screening
  • Freezing down of 3 vials per positive clone

Monoclonal Antibody Production
Culture Supernatant:
$1.00 per ml of monoclonal antibody supernatant

CL-1000 Integra Bioreactor:
$11.55 per ml of highly concentrated (0.5-1.5 mg/ml)* antibody supernatant, free of serum and host immunoglobulin

*Concentrations vary depending on the hybridoma
