Creating New Account

1. To create an account, begin by going to the dnaLIMS homepage.

2. Enter the requested information on the "New Account Setup" page. Click on Submit when finished.

Sample Submission

Samples are now submitted online through the DNA Core's sample tracking system. Each user will have their own individual account and login. If you have not created an account, go to Creating New Account.

1. Go to the dnaLIMS homepage.

2. Click on "Login to dnaLIMS". The dnaLIMs web login page will load.

3. Enter Login Name and Password. Click on Submit. The dnaLIMS User Tools page will load.

4. Select "Sequencing Requests" or "Fragment Analysis Requests".

5. Enter the number of samples being submitted. Click on the Submit button.

6. Fill in the form. Click on the Submit button when finished.

7. A page confirming your sequence request will be generated giving the Order and Requisition number.

Data Retreival

Fragment analysis data is retrieved via the web through the DNA core's sample tracking system.

1. Go to the dnaLIMS homepage.

2. Click on "Login to dnaLIMS". The dnaLIMs web login page will load.

3. Enter Login Name and Password. Click on Submit. The dnaLIMS User Tools page will load.

4. Select "Retrieve Your Results" or "Fragment Analysis Results".

5. Select the order number for the samples submitted. Click on the Submit button.

6. The samples in that order will be displayed in a table. The result may be viewed or downloaded from the web page.
